Mommy and Me Mini-Sessions
I am SO excited for these sessions! The bond between a mother and her child or children is one of the most special in the world. If you’re anything like me, you’re always the one behind the camera in family photos, and rarely ever in them. Even when we have our family’s photos professionally taken, I’m always too busy worrying about everyone else, that I don’t really relax and definitely don’t want to be the focus of any photos and we most often just focus on the kids. I’ve recently been reminded in many ways, that life’s moments are precious. I want to be in more photos with my children, and I would love for those photos to capture us being us. That is where my idea for Mommy and Me Mini-Sessions came about…and what more perfect timing to celebrate moms, than right around Mother’s Day. Give yourself a Mother’s Day gift that will keep on giving to you years down the road. No matter where in life you are, or your children are…I’m sure it’s a perfect time capture moments. Another thought is as much as I’d love photos like this with my own children, I’d love some with my own mom just as much.
So it doesn’t matter if you’re a mom and your littles are young or old, or if you’re a mom, and you want to schedule this session for you and your own mom…we will make this session work for you. If the weather doesn’t work out, I am able to go to your place with all my stuff and do the sessions in your house =)
Get creative…like I said, I really want this session to be about you and your kids. I’m thinking if it were me, I might bring a blanket and some of my girl’s favorite books, and capture our snuggles and stories. Maybe you want to stop and grab some ice-treats, or bring a special game or toy you love to play together…maybe it means taking a little walk together, or just hanging out being YOU. That is what this is all about, and what I really hope to capture for you.
I have a feeling this will fill up rather quickly. Session fee is due at the time of booking.
Happy Mother’s Day to you! (Just a little early…but shouldn’t it be Happy Mother’s Day every day??
